Recently Acquired Luger

Hi Matt, and welcome to the forum.

Your Luger was manufactured by Mauser in Oberndorf in 1938. It looks to be in it's original finish and hopefully is all matching. If that's true, it's considered collectible, and you should resist the urge to shoot it (since a broken part would impact it's historic and financial value).

it's a nice one. Do you have an original - perhaps matching - magazine? Do you have the "bring back papers" that your uncle might have had to allow him to return to the USA with it?
