No, it was not damaged. I did do a fast oiling on it though.

For whatever reasons, I do not have much problem with humidity such as would affect firearms. But then I use a lot of damp rid everywhere (including in closets etc) and a dehumidifier.

Mold, well, I do have a problem every not and then with it and leather goods.
