Very, very odd that both parts have the same serial number but different suffixes. Are you sure you are not looking at a "Crown/N" (which is a commercial proof) instead of a "M" ?
Not questioning your reading abilities, it is, as said above, just too much weird! ![]() And welcome to the forum! Douglas |

This is a mismatch commercial Luger. The photos are very fuzzy, but if this is a Crown N Alphabet Luger, then it shouldn't have a military type number marking on the side plate and takedown lever. I can't tell much more.
