I think Vern has already done quite a good job with his post, in fact You've got a Portuguese "Manuel Secundo" that for some obsure reason was converted into a target shooter with deep alterations (adjustable rear sight!). I don' t think it has any collectible value, but if you must have it properly checked by a good armourer before you use it at the range. Remember: 1) proper check by a competent armourer 2) Never shoot modern high power cartridges with it. 3) Shoot safe. Sergio

I think it is a very nice looking Luger that is most likely a really good shooter. I would be proud to have it in my safe.
