Welcome aboard!
The 1939 rig looks good, and I'm not seeing anything that jumps out at me. The finish is a bit thin, but there were some years that just seemed to get that way quickly, more so than others. The price you paid is certainly top dollar, but in 15 years you'll probably think it was a darn good investment. At least I hope so.
Don't know all that much about the Mitchell Lugers, they don't have a great reputation, but at least you're not in too deep. The question in my mind is: "does it shoot well?". Some of those guns are a PITA, so I hope yours runs like a clock.
Congratulations, and let us know how the Mitchell shoots.
