Nice! Same variation as mine I know what you mean about condition, I really notice how nice mine is after seeing so many lugers, I was very lucky being it is one of the cleanest original Lugers that I've seen so far that is not refinished.

Is there a reason you lusted after the K and G dates?

I've always been a fiend for all things Mauser, though I've not acquired any Mauser P.38's (yet). Someday, I'd love to have all 6 variations of the G-date (like Frank's sticky photo), and one each of the S/42's: 1936-1939, a 1940 42 code, and finally a byf 41. This may take many more years, though I am open to "lesser quality" guns (VoPo's, nickel-plated, mismatched shooters as part of the acquisition process.

My collecting peccadillos very much would resemble an insane conglomerate of multilple overlapping Venn diagrams, were I to spell everything out...
