This gun appears to have some reblue (likely cold blue) on it, that can account for the "blue" appearance on strawed parts. I would say it's worth $900, but ONLY if all the numbers match.
I would bet the grips are not original (there is a slim chance they might be) - they just look too nice given the condition of the rest of the gun, and most if not all 1918 Lugers have beech grips, not walnut. - Geo
