I have a couple of problems with this one..You better look at the left side of the Navy rear sight. The WW dockyard marking on the rear gripstrap is suspect to me. If the mag is matching I would sure expect a photo of it. Something about this whole presentation..or lack of has me colored suspicious.
I have been wrong before but like I say..I want to see more to allay my negative thoughts. In the meanwhile I am sure one of the more knowledgeable Navy guys will come along.

Hi Bill, If you're interested in this gun you should ask for more, and clearer photos, particularly ones of the receiver rails, magazine base and a close-up of the C/M marks on the left receiver. For what it's worth, the barrel serial numbers on guns this early should not have halos, they were numbered prior to bluing, and the W.W. marking (Werft Wilhelmshaven) looks correct also, these marks are almost always pantographed, like this one. All other Navy property marks were stamped.
