I think the biggest clue to an old refurb on this gun is that the internal frame rails and bottoms of the receiver rails are blued, not bright as they would be on an original finish gun. Just my opinion. Price is pretty high. There is a comparable 1916 on GB that is hovering in the 3600 range right now with no reserve. If I hadn't just ponied up on a registered M-2 carbine.....

You lucky Dawg! The M2 carbine is the select-fire one, yes? It would be a near toss-up for me between one of those and a nice Navy! Dang NY State and its Sullivan Act! And Dang my empty wallet!
