My Father did 30 in the Army. He went from the Horse Cavalry ( 13th-Fort Clark, TX ) to Special Forces. My Mother was an Army Nurse in England and France '41 to '44. I miss them both dearly. God Bless all Veterans, especially those on this Forum!

My Dad was stationed at Dutch Harbor in Alaska at the beginning of the war, then was sent to the Philippines to fight the Japanese where many on both sides lost their lives, now we have come full circle, my Son travels often to Japan on business where he met and married my beautiful Daughter-in-Law, they just had their fourth child and I could not be prouder.
P.S. That is their oldest Daughter and me in my Avatar.
