Its called photoshop folks.... go to his website for the real webpage...On the other hand, why bother? I spent 3 years in the Army. Got a lot done and it seemed like a long time. I wouldn't ask this guy the time of day. When he got around to answering it might be next month. It might be photoshop Ed but this guy's on vacation alright. You would think he would have put Ed's project right up front given the exposure involved. Stupid is as stupid does.

I don't care how good his work is this is not right. He should be avoided.
There are others who do the same things responsibly. Bill

The records show many unhappy scenarios and only few happy ones. Paying in advance is about the most impossible way to be successful with this person.

After reading many comments from forum members about this gentleman over the years there are two things about him that stand out, the first is that he is slower then molasses in January and he does a very poor job of communication with his customers, the second is that his work is absolutely, without question, superb, he is a real craftsman and has an eye for detail. Personally, I don't have the patience that it would take to place an order with him but for those that do always seem to have positive things to say about his work.

You should make a follow-up cartoon of Eugene as Lucy Brown snatching the carbine from Ed as he reached for it!

Sorry Ed... couldn't resist. I hope he gets off his butt and finishes your carbine REAL SOON NOW.

HMMM....??????

You mean bets on month, date, year of the "Saturday"?

I seriously hope you mean this coming Saturday! Which would be
January 2, 2016; now what do I win if I'm correct?

taking bets? On whether it's ready or not? Fit & finish alright? Will it actually shoot? Or another half dozen bets? God bless Brother Ed, I hope it's what it's supposed to be..Personally I think the guy should bring it to your house on a red velvet pillow on bended knee.

I am chanting a Luger Carbine completion mantra now...

With repetition it increases in power... Irresistible power...

"Escarrabin! Illegitimi non carborundum... Omm.... "

This meaningless pseudo Latin comes from the French word root ("gravedigger") of "Carbine" and the concept that you should not "let the bastards grind you down"...

Hoping for Joy!

Marc
