A: As youprobably have found out, you can't fit your .17 Luger BB pistol on the rack.
B: You will have to pull the red end cap off of the rack to fit a Ruger MK III on the rack. Anything smaller than a .32 cal. won't go with the cap on and a .32 is a really tight fit. They ain't made for mouse guns.
Having said that, they are really swell for .380 and up. A good product, well made and reasonably priced.

The rod itself is 0.20", so you'll be able to use the rack for any caliber down to .22 if you order it without the sleeve and cap. You have that option when you order it, so I ordered a few of each. I also have a 2-gun rack on my work bench, one with sleeve and cap, the other one without. It's great to have a place to put your gun when you're done working on it, it keeps it away from the dirt and nastiness on the bench.
