The problem I have seen with rematched sideplates is the exact alignment of the trigger axle. If the sideplate isn't fitted exactly or the axle anchor is worn the trigger can be sloppy and the pull inconsistant.
An Erfurt with no sideplate number is kinda like a $3.00 bill. Gary |
