Zorba, Mauser made many changes..often not very noticeable unless you look hard but this one was phased in because Mauser obtained some DWM parts so they used frames they got from DWM. When they started making their own.. the hump appeared. To answer your question..Do all Mauser built Lugers have the hump, No they do not. Very early Mausers you may find without it and there could be others..commercials or contract pieces. I don't study Mauser all that much so another Member who is knowledgeable will have to elucidate on that.
