That is correct. It is reported to be 100% reliable and functional - I hope so and we'll see - the previous owner supposedly wanted more of an "every day" mixed parts example. I'm not planning on shooting it very much, just "a little once in a while".

In other news, when I went to my local FFL, they had a C96 in the case - so I got to handle that. Looked decent overall - reblued over some pitting on one side. Cool gun, but I'm just not jonesing for one. $1200.

The gun has arrived at my LGS - went down today for an inspection. Bore looks brand new to my inexperienced eye. The only real fault I could find was a tinsy crack on the RH grip at the top - I think a bit of carefully applied CA glue will fix that invisibly. The GSG (Gun Shop Guys) all thought it was a nice piece. It took both me and the counter guy a couple of minutes to figure out that the safety needs to be off before the toggle will retract!

Now there's just the waiting period, and it'll be all mine!
