There's probably really nothing wrong in "flipping" guns, I've even done it a few times. But buying something for $1000 and selling it a few months or year later for $1200, is a little different than buying something for $1000 then listing it for $2500 the following week. This doesn't mean he'll get $2500, but a new price average is being set.

As Mr. Tinker mentioned, I only flipped to upgrade what I had, not to make a living from it. Other people have different motives.

My only concern about "flipping" guns is that it keeps driving the prices up.....not just for the people buying flipped guns but for everyone else who sees an equivalent gun they have and say, "If he got that much for his, I can get that much for mine".
