Hi,
The hole in the 682m was done after it left the factory, and I think it detracts from it. It might be possible to fix that using a TIG welder, and some work to re-contour the area and refinish it, but it would cost more than the work is worth. Both were early (1923-1924) commercial Lugers exported to the USA. Double check to ensure that one is in 9mm. That would be unusual. Marc
