no date on the top of the receiver?

is there a matching serial number on the underside of the barrel?

I assume the word germany is on the left or right of the luger?

Is there a crown N on the left or are there acceptance / proofs on the right

And in answer to the questions above, Germany would show that it was a export to the USA - likely in the 1920's

Crown N would be on a made for sale gun in the 1920's, while proofs on the right would be showing that it is a rework / which is ok for this era

The longer barrel could be ordered in almost any size during the 1920's - 1930's (early 1930's)
