Given the condition of this gun, it must have spent its serviceable life somewhere in Asia, and the recent U.S. importer's stamp on right side of the grip frame matches that guesstimation. But why it also has a "GERMANY" stamp on the left side....God knows... probably German changed its exporting route in 1920s. Numerous used full size small rings were exported to Asia in that era. The lock frame came from a postwar Bolo, but fits the frame OK, probably mixed by a local gunsmith before exporting to the U.S. This instance must be dangerous to shoot.
