1917 DWM Matching Value?

I can't tell what the finish is on the trigger, TD lever, and safety, looks like bluing but it is sort of flakey, not even wear as per usual. Painted over? Anyway, other than that I see no problems. Just an old warhorse with a lot of history. I may sound like a broken record, but I'm seeing somewhere in the neighborhood of $1K there, maybe just a bit less. I don't know that I'd relegate it to a shooter, just because of those parts, as the rest appears unmolested.
Now lets hear some more learned opinions.
