Another thought would be to replace the current grip safety spring with one that is lighter in poundage. That way, it would take very little effort/grip, to disengauge the grip safety. I did this very thing on a S&W Mod. 40 "lemon squeezer" revolver, and it made all the difference in the World as to function......just a thought.
