I personally do not know the 'official' range that the P08 was factory-sighted at, but most probably between 15-25 meters. Remember that in those days wildly optimistic ranges were attributed to military arms...2000 meters for Mosin Nagant rifles, 1200 meters for Luger Artillery sighted models. (yeah, right..for a 115 grain 9mm bullet)
