Patronen User Join Date: Jun 2010 Posts: 312 Thanks: 335 Thanked 93 Times in 70 Posts	I don't know about the CAR-15, but the M231 Port Firing Weapon for the US military fires from an open bolt but that is an Automatic rifle based on the AR. Dave
