We noticed the misaligned witness marks and atypical lengthwise orientation of ser # on bbl. Thanks Eugene, for an explanation of why the grips fit so crappy. The checkering looks coarser than average, like Dutch?

Wrong direction of the numbers on the barrel, can be from Finn or Swiss rework, and actually Kreghoff and I think Simpson did that as well. But in this case the font of the numbers on the barrel is the same as an incorrect 1918 = modern numbers. This gun is a project gun, that can be turned in to a Baby or Carbine, or just keep it as a shooter. But the price for a it is max of $600, any more and you need to look away from the light ;0)
