Had the seller advertised it as "all parts matching"?
A mismatched toggle axle pin on a 1939 Code 42 may only depreciate the value of the gun 5% if you are negotiating the sale knowing that it is a mismatch, but if you were misled when you bought the gun before having it to examine, I think that's a whole different issue. Ed. Yes, if I bought a 1939 Code 42 advertised as all matching and then found that the axle pin was not correctly numbered I would expect a 5% adjustment for that defect alone. Regards, Doug
