There is an original DWM .45 Luger in a museum in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is in the Norton Gallery, and is a well documented pistol sold by Harry Jones to Mr. R.W. Norton. Best guess is that it was one of the original hand built .45's as it has the GL proof, but was not shipped to the US for testing as it has a C/N proof on the receiver. There have been rumors of additional pistols, but to date no undiscovered .45 Lugers have turned up.
