If you look very closely you will see detail differences in the inspection stamps. The eagles on this gun are #148 in Costanzo--can't post a scan right now. They do not have the WaA4 underneath.

Ignore Costanzo's interpretation. These are assuredly a stamp held by a different inspector from the accustomed (bird)/WaA4 inspector. Along with the proof stamp, these marks indicate that the pistol is 1921 military production. It would be very useful to see the other markings on this pistol.
