But at least it was intact...One girl/woman bought an original C4 ZR1 from an eBay seller and it was delivered by transporter...One of those big girder-ramps tractor-trailer rigs...Last car off...Driver didn't pin the ramps when he backed the Vette off...Of course, the ramps slipped...One went through the floor...

I followed the thread for awhile...the transport company [bonded, I assume] agreed to pay to have the ZR1 repaired...Still a heartbreaking experience...the car you've always dreamed of, aluminum 32 valve DOHC V-8, the right color, convertible, in pristine condition...Tens of thousands of dollars...Smashed within sight of your garage...
