After much research, I'm going to go out on a limb here concerning your holster. Lots of speculation, and readiing between the lines:

This is a Swiss commercial 4 inch conversion. The circle stitching and the closure are typical Swiss. There is one shown on pg 479 of "Luger holsters and Accessories". This one was converted from an ordnance revolver holster. The closure is different, but they mention the removal of the spare mag pouch on the face of the holster.

But there are others on this forum who know more about holsters than I do.
