The rear toggle pin should NOT be brass... It's made of hardened steel. The finish that looks golden is actually a finish called "Straw"... If it's brass, it isn't safe to shoot...
These pins do wear, and that impacts headspace since the entire toggle train would shift back from the breech. Tom is great to do business with. He's fair and often has exactly what you need! Marc
