Button Identification
Can anyone identify the origin of this button.
I apologize for the poor focus, it is a cell phone camera photo... It is a gilded metal button that is gold in color and about 3/4 inch in diameter... it was in a package deal of antique buttons that my wife purchased, and of course this one caught my eye... She collects antique buttons. If the photo isn't good enough I will make another attempt at capturing a good photo. Any idea what kind of clothing or uniform it came from?
