Jason, I do stray sometimes from the 'Radom' quest. Over the years, have put away a few Lugers.

Still, "Third Reich Lugers", page 125, identifies the magazine as a Type 3 Army. "These magazines were issued with late 1939, 1940 dated and 41-42 code, and the very first 41-byf Lugers."

Thanks Francis I should know that. I didnt pull out my book and my examples all have type 2.
