The holster is for an Artillery Luger.
Unfortunately, the gun you picture never left the factory that way. The long barrel is not original to the gun. It may still be a good shooter, but it has lost much of its collector value.
The part your gunshop people pointed out as perhaps being the culprit in the failure to fire is actually the extractor. A broken extractor may prevent a round from being properly removed from the chamber after firing, but will not influence a fire/no fire situation.
You need to have a competent gunsmith, with experience with Lugers determine why it will not fire.
