Not to go off-topic, but yes Porta is a reference to "Sven Hassel" books.
Probably the grim start of my own decline into owning one of these unique and elegant pistols; I have the whole set in lurid-corgi covers (somewhere).

So perhaps not so "off-topic" then .....
