As Tom says. From Jan Still's book, "Weimar and Early Nazi Lugers". "After WWI, perhaps as early as 1919 the commercial serial range was continued by DWM. It started at about 75000...... In 1921 at about serial no. 92000 the five digit method was converted to the letter suffix. Nice piece! FN |
