I recently sold a 7-08 Sako Forester barrel to a guy who said he was going to mount it on a Finnwolf for his son. I was going to re-barrel my .243 with it, but the .243 shoots too good.

This is my .243. It was custom built by a local maker named Ed Plummer. His rifles are in high demand by those who know them. He guaranteed all of them to shoot 1" or better at 100 yds., and they do. He used Sako or Mark X actions, with Walnut or Maple stocks. Every body thinks it's ugly until they see how it shoots. I call it my "Homelier Gun".

The bottom one is a Plummer .300 Win mag. I can't wrap myself around magnum calibers, with exception of .375 H&H, so it was sold to a dealer who collects Plummer's rifles.
