Ross,
Your 1913 is a 177th Regiment 'Stab' staff pistol. Staff pistols were arsenal maintained for replacement, or for issue as needed. They were marked with only the Regimental number and not designated to a company or detachment. Pretty neat, and hard to find marking. Right up there with an MG company marking. Ron
