Bill,

For example. Here's a very rare Navy Luger. It looks nice, and I could probably dupe some unknowing soul into buying it for a bundle, with a well formatted "Gun Show" BS story.

However, it is a 1937 S/42 Mauser that someone refitted with an original Navy sight and a cut down and turned Artillery barrel. Note the "fine Tune" Arty front sight. All matching numbers.

Just found it (last photo). A photo of Joe May's Weimar Reichsmarine rework which retains the original sight.
