Bill,

The story is Bull Hockie!! It's a shooter parts gun built on a Navy frame, with a bad reblue, worth less than half the asking price. Imagination is a wonderful thing.

Some poor novice will probably end up with it, only to discover he will now have to use the same BS story to try to get his money back.

The story is partially true, but not with this particular gun. Here are two legitimate Weimar Reichsmarine reworks. 4" barrels with standard rear sight toggle links. There are original examples which still retain the two position rear Navy sight, but they are few and far between.
