A 1937 S/42 should have a stick (or straight) wing eagle over 63. But now be careful!!! There are three different sizes of SE/63 magazines. Believe it or not, they are called SE/37 (for the small), SE/63M (M for Medium) and SE/63L (L for Large). The latter two are for the 1939 variations.
