Welcome to the forum. If both are collectable and I think they are, then shooting one could break a part. Unlikely, but it does happen, I broke a BREACHBLOCK ON A SHOOTER LAST SUMMER.

So, breaking a breachblock could lower the value in half.

Main things are?
All matching (last two on most parts)
Lightly clean and oil them (take grips off and then not a whole lot more to me and then clean it with a rag and plenty of hoppes or clp or whatever type of gun oil you can pick up.

holsters, use sparingly anything on them; maybe buy some connolys and use that.

Do a search and you'll see lots of info on holsters.
