Basic Questions...

Thanks to both of you, that helped clear some stuff up.

I've never owned a luger before (obviously) and being so new to this i don't even know where to start to make my first buy. From what I've gathered I'd be looking for a shooter definately under $1,000, something that I could shoot and just get the feel for. Could you guys help point me in the right direction and enlighten me with more specifics for a first buy? I will continue to read this forum and other sources as well.
