This is not your typical police. It was army that was routed to the police and falls in the serial range of others of this configuration. You can probably add 1K to the value that was listed above. That should get you in the ballpark of what it's value is.
It is probably more rare than a '39 Banner Police. |

I want to thank you guys that posted. The reason I asked the value, I didn't want say at first. I had read a recent post here or at another sight about keeping a record of what a piece would bring if a family members needs to sell. This just happened recently after I had read it, a new outside salesman came to the shop a week ago Thursday, I met him and shook his hand one time and then he was killed in a car accident on Monday. I do alot of driving myself in and around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, this is why I asked.
