M, Since most of your questions have been answered above, I can only add that the mag spring should be installed in your WW1 mag with the spring guide at the TOP. I do have new perfect unmarked wood mag bottoms available @$35 + $3 S&H. The Erma LA model 64, likes standard velocity ammo and is worth about $250 LNIB. TH
