That's understandable...I found my Doberman curled up on my coach with one of my combat boots, once long ago...I guess he got lonely while I was at work...

Glad somebody else likes Dobies. I once found my Dobe curled up on the couch with one of my schoolbooks. He learned quickly that I did not approve of "mouth reading". He loved the comfort of the couch so much that I could never break him of that; just threw an old blanket over it for him to lay on when I left the house.

I've owned, bred, raised, and rescued Dobermans since 1973; same with Weimaraners since 1991...they all have the run of the house, but counter surfing is frowned upon...(it's clean, but slippery)...I have one of each right now, plus a mutt Terrier...Old bedspreads on all my couches...and about a zillion toys all over the house...

Lots of great stories about Dobes & Weims over the years...

There's an old saying..."If you starve with a Doberman, the Doberman starves last"...

To get back on topic (sort of)...Were Luftwaffe holsters brown???
