Just recently bought a 1940 42 Luger, all matching except a forced sideplate, safety bar and sear. Dipped blue for $450. I also bought a mismatched 1939 for $400 about six months ago.

The secret?; get away from the gun boards and frequent local gun shows, fleamarkets, VFW halls and historical events. That's were the bargains come out of the woodwork.
Here in Souh Florida WW2 veterans are unfortunately leaving us at an alarming rate. There are many guns of all sorts coming onto the market.
