How to dissemble Browning FN 1900

Steinar -

Push the magazine catch forward and remove the magazine.

Release the safety.

Draw the slide fully to the rear and check to see the chamber is empty.

Release the slide and pull the trigger

Unscrew and remove the breechblock screws.

Move the slide forward off the frame.

Lift the forward end of the recoil spring until it snaps free of the frame.

Withdraw the breechblock to the rear.

Supposedly, this is sufficient disassembly for normal cleaning.
