Remove mag and ensure the pistol is empty. Un-**** the striker, remove the screws mentioned, slide should come off forward from the breech assembly.

May be a tight fit. Might have to bump the slide forward a bit with a soft hammer, it won't just pop apart.

The grips have retaining plates inside to keep the grips attached, just loosen the screws and rotate the plates to remove the grips.

Not all that much to a FN Browning 1900, but it is hard to see the Browning influence alongside other Browning designed pistols.
