I has a bad habit -- snake skin always inspires me goosebumps.... by looking at those creatures I am very uncomfortable. But whenever I visit a pet store, I cannot control myself not looking for it.... "where is it?" The feeling was like watching a thriller movie. Unexplainable.

I appreciate fine engraving as much as anyone, provided that it is tastefully done and doesn't diminish the value or utility of the gun.
However in the case of these two pistols, they're a bit too "pimped out" to suit my tastes..... Here's a better picture of the "broom handle" that I took off Barnett's website (which also notes that this is a Chinese Mauser). yuk....... Dave in TN.
