What book are you using?

A safe and loaded is not common, but long barrels could be ordered in almost any size / length in the past (1930's, 1950's, etc).

I have seen them for sale off and on, although not usually safe n loadeds.

aaron davis standard catalogue of lugers...all numbers match on the gun
